NORAH JONES - LITTLE BROKEN HEAETS REMIX EP

On January 22nd, nine-time Grammy Award winning singer Norah Jones will unveil a digital EP collecting all seven remixes for her Little Broken Hearts album (produced by Danger Mouse) to date. This DJ promo features the full Little Broken Hearts Remix EP, including four transcendent remixes from TV On The Radio's David Andrew Sitek, and two brand new remixes delivered by José Padilla, celebrated Ibiza chill ambassador and legendary DJ of the island's Café Del Mar. Finally, topping off the collection is Peter Bjorn and John's re-invention of the chilling "Miriam." Jones has also just released Covers via Target, an exclusive compilation of ten rare and unreleased tracks recorded over the first decade of Jones' career. Included are interpretations of songs from some of Norah's favorite artists: from Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson to Tom Waits, Wilco and Horace Silver.

YOYO HONEY - GROOVE ON

Comprising producer/writer Mani Shoniwa and vocalist Anita Jarrett, Yo Yo Honey only released one album, 1992′s Voodoo Soul, before disbanding and moving on to other projects. The album was a mix of late-’80s/early-’90s dance and classic soul, in a similar vein to Soul II Soul (some of whose members were featured on the album), and became somewhat of a classic on the underground soul scene, with the single “Groove On” still a favorite amongst many 20 years on. The album has long been out of print and has never been available digitally, but thankfully Mani and Anita are set to release a remastered version this October, together with a single remix package, featuring a killer rare groove treat from SoulBounce fave Soulpersona. This is all in preparation for the duo’s upcoming album of new material, scheduled for an early 2013 release. ~ LoungeMotion.com

JESSE WARE - IF YOU'RE NEVER GONNA MOVE

For Jessie Ware singing is the easy part. Uncannily beautiful vocals have been pouring out of this London-born singer and songwriter since she was a kid. Having already made waves in the U.K. with her critically acclaimed debut album, Devotion, Jessie releases her debut U.S. EP, If You’re Never Gonna Move. The EP features Ware’s first U.S. single, “If You’re Never Gonna Move,” plus a remix by Two Inch Punch. Also included are two tracks from the Mercury Prize-nominated album Devotion, and a cover of Bobby Caldwell’s “What You Won’t Do For Love.” Jessie kicks off her U.S. tour in January with a string of eagerly anticipated live shows, several of which have already sold out. Upcoming tour dates include: 1/22 - Los Angeles, CA - Amoeba Music; 1/23 - Los Angeles, CA - El Rey; and 1/24 - San Francisco, CA - PopScene.
