MacDowell & Krell - Echnaton´s Return (1993)

Taken from the original liner notes:

The artists Lothar Krell and Lenny MacDowell (FM Leinert) have chosen the sun as a symbol of life and anture. For the sun leads through different cultures and accompanies past and future to the beginning of the sun cult, a journey that makes visible the world behind the worlds. The Pharao and sun god Echnaton symbolize the leading figure on this album.

Echnaton´s Return is a mixture of natural instruments, the most modern electronics and also a live band. The history of the sun cult and the adoration of sun symbols is wrapped around planet Earth like a cobweb and thus is musically displayed by means of the most diverse musical styles.

Echnaton´s Return is not another "enviroment production" with moral judgement, Lothar Krell and Lenny MacDowell produced a concept album with a story on the stage of the rescue of our planet - between man and nature.
