Bajazzo - Fasten Seat Belts! (1987)

Bajazzo was one of the few East German fusion bands. They started in 1978, but ...

... due to socialist government restrictions because of their Western orientation, they were not allowed to produce a record before 1987.

Bajazzo played that funky kind of jazz-rock like die Average White Band and they do this on a very high level. Their leader Jürgen Heckel wrote the most of the songs.

They had with Pascal von Wroblewsky a female singer who was able to sing very different styles an you can her her wonderful voice doing a wonderful vocals bossa nova in "Sambalita"

The band (without Pascal von Wroblewsky who started a colo career in 1991) is still active today and that´s a real good message.

And sometimes Bajazzo and Pascal von Wroblewsky played together again and they people tell, that their live concerts are like dynamite !
