Chris Youlden (born Christopher Youlden, 1943, Dagenham, England) is an English blues singer; from 1967 until 1970 the singer with the British blues band, Savoy Brown.
After leaving Savoy Brown he recorded two superb solo-albums in the Seventies and then ? No one really knows, what Chris Youlden did in the following years.

But it was a great surprise, that he publish in 1991 his third album, produced by the master of British-Blues, Mike Vernon.
It´s a real fine album with bluesy and jazzy tunes, most of them written by Youlden himself and played with many musicians we all know from the Sixties.

Another break ... what happened ? During 2007 - 2009 he was very ill, spent many weeks in a hospital, but it seems, that he ist still alive and well .. because today he´s playing with another legendary britisch Blues group called Shakey Vick.
