This recording you are holding in your hands is that of a talented singer und keyboard player by the name of Bobby Crew. I´ve been working with Bobby for four years and I always feel confident on stage or in the studio with him. He is always full of enthusiasm, inventiveness and innovation.
After we (The Spencer Davis Band) did our tour in Europe in the fall of 1985, we managed to capture the feeling of that tour on record ("24 Hours"). During the recording, that folks at in-akustik fell in love with what bobby Crew was doing and asked him to record a solo project for the label.
Please welcome Bobby Crew as a solo artist with his new release. Here is a very talented singer and musician who is destined to enjoy world-wide recognition as an artist and composer in his own right (by Spencer Davis)
Bobby Crew, born 1951 and classically trained since he was 6 years old. He grew up, also musically in Chicago until 1975, moved to Oakland, where he did much "Gospel" and then to Los Angeles as musical director and songwriter.
