Thanks to jitters, who shared the tracks in 2006. Jitters noted: “As I got this in a trade, I have no info about the recording levels. The radio announcer talks at the start of a few tracks, but not over the songs, apart from “The Twist” it’s not to annoying though.”
James Taylor has dubbed himself an “unabashed liberal” and has championed progressive left-leaning politics for most of his career. Yet there he was in 1987, performing at Rishon Letzion (near Tel-Aviv, Israel) and the show was reported to have been broadcast over the Israeli Defense Forces radio station (Galei Tzahal).
Wonder if he’d give a thought to the plight of the Palestinians or still do a show for the IDF today?
