Markus Becker (piano), born in Offenbach /Germany in 1856 - he studied at the Hochschule für Musik and Darstellende Kunst in Graz/Austria (classics and jazz) from 1976 - 1979 - subject piano (minor subjects composition and arranging) . tours and performance in Austria, Switzerlang, France, The Netherlands and Germany.
He worked with musicians like Heinz Sauer, Art Farmer, Christof Lauer, Alphonose Mouzon and Harvey Washington amongst others.
This is his first and last album with his own Quartet ... a fresh example of the New Jazz Scene in Germany during this period.

Today he´s more a classical pianist with lot of sucess in Germany.
