Obsession - Joshua Redman

This is a great track off of Joshua Redman's album Mood Swing.  The band plays a two bar vamp under Blade's solo, which features a lot of over the barline patterns and similar figures in three or more limbs that function similar to a canon.  The tom will enter followed by the hi hat and then the ride cymbal to create a lot of forward momentum.  This is one of my favorite Brian Blade solos!
